Schism

Hello jam colleagues,

We are two friends who built this game from scratch in a bit less than a couple weeks for Terminal Jam.

Our aim was to develop a completely non linear story where what you choose impacts in the future, time was a bit tight (you see we uploaded just before deadline), so we have just a "first chapter" ready for the Jam. :)

In this version:

-Exciting story about the Napoleonic wars in Russia.
-Cool music from Russian Napoleonic era (and a bit more recent).
-More than 60 unique events. As game is non linear you will probably only see 10-15 in a playthrough though.
-All actions you take get saved, some decisions are available only because of your past decisions.
-The story, engine and music is made by us in vscode and Ableton. Some libraries were used for sound.

We have a 150 event story prepared, if you like the game provide your feedback and we will try to finish it!

It has been a really cool but demanding project as it is literaly our first game, surely not the last one!
